Delivery Information

Welcome to our shipping policy at About Giving! Here’s everything you need to know about how we get your gifts to your lucky recipients.

Delivery Details

  • We dispatch Monday – Friday at 2PM. Orders that are received after 2PM will be dispatched the following working day.
  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed the next business day. No deliveries happen on public holidays.
  • NZ Couriers cannot deliver to PO Boxes

Authority to Leave
All packages have the authority to leave at a safe location on site. If they cannot gain access or find a safe delivery location, they will call the number provided or leave a calling card.

Delivery Charges and Time

  • North Island Standard: $13.50
  • South Island & Nationwide Rural: $14.90
  • South Island during peak season (from 18th December – 29th December): $24.90
  • Rural South Island during peak season (from 18th December – 29th December): $29.90
  • Note: South Island and Rural deliveries take 2-4 working days.

Saturday Deliveries
We can arrange Saturday deliveries in certain cases. Reach out to us at mail@aboutgiving.co.nz for more details.

Pick-Up Option
If you’re in Auckland, you can pick up your gift for free from our showroom at 20B Barrys Point Road, Takapuna. Please contact us in advance.

Delayed Delivery
We partner with NZ Couriers as our main courier. While we always aim to deliver on time, we can’t guarantee it. If your delivery is delayed, we’re sorry for any inconvenience, but it doesn’t qualify for a refund. Please use your tracking information and contact NZ Couriers directly for customer service.
